The Merida One Twenty 400 MTB bike was built by the Merida staff. It has an aluminum frame that provides solidity in its construction. Thanks to the Shimano Deore M5100 1×11-speed drivetrain and the 29″ Merida Comp CC wheels for disc brakes, the bike provides excellent performance during sport. The Suntour XCR34 LOR fork and Suntour Unair TR LOR8 suspension offer safety and control so you can enjoy your mountain rides to the fullest. The geometry is designed to suit both male and female morphology. It combines a sophisticated structure in the tubes that adds efficiency, as well as a plus of aerodynamics thanks to the profiles that adapt.
The Merida One Twenty 400 MTB is Merida’s most versatile bike. With its 120 mm suspension and 29″ wheels, the bike handles all types of terrain perfectly, from technical trails to flatter tracks. The new geometry and frame features make the bike more fun as well as faster. The Merida staff have put special emphasis on improving the bike’s downhill capabilities, with a steeper steering angle, shorter chainstays and a longer wheelbase the bike is more stable and more agile. This is the fourth bike to adopt Float Link suspension. Its efficiency in pedalling, its sensitivity and progressiveness and its lightness make it one of the best performing suspension systems. This bike is designed for mountain living, from the most alpine peaks to the meadows of the valleys.
Its durability is well above ISO safety standards and has even passed the Zelder Advanced Plus tests with flying colours, where loads of up to 140kg are used to push the frames to the extreme. It incorporates Smart Entry technology, which through this simple system we make the internal guidance clean and simple. In addition, the sleeves are held under pressure which prevents them from moving inside the frame, eliminating any noise. Simple solutions make all the difference. As for its axles, it mounts the standard Boost axle 12 x 148mm and 15 x 110mm. With 29″ wheels this standard makes more sense as it allows the spokes of the wheels to be opened up more for greater stiffness.
